Siôn Roberts joins the Cennox Group

Siôn Roberts is Cennox’s Group Chief Retail Officer, and joined the company on 1st March 2023.  Within that role, Roberts is responsible for defining and executing the Retail Business Strategy across the Cennox group, working closely with other Group and Regional Executives.  He is responsible for our retail and payment industry thought leadership and providing a global industry perspective to our Retail Clients around the World.

Externally, he is Cennox’s spokesperson to the retail industry and throughout his career, has been regularly heard speaking at and chairing industry events.  He is regularly quoted in many global, national and industry publications on subjects of technology in the retail and payment space and its role in support of the wider industry issues, such as labour challenges and cash accessibility.

Prior to joining Cennox, Roberts has worked for a variety of Retail and Payment Technology organisations, often at CXO level and has a career track record in defining and executing innovative and successful Go To Market/Solution Strategies, building and transforming sales, marketing and product teams into real high performers, incubating innovation programmes to market readiness, and delivering strong performance and service excellence to his customers.  Originally a software engineer in retail store systems, Roberts has experience across both technology and business swim lanes in consulting, then product, marketing, sales and executive roles.

Roberts graduated to Masters Degree level with an MBA from the University of Liverpool in 2005.

  • To create a broader, compelling, and market-relevant Global Retail Position and Offer at Cennox with and for successful retailers around the world. This means a Payment business beyond Cash and a multi-vendor, multi-function, modern Retail Managed Service Proposition.
  • To leverage a Global Cennox and it’s ecosystem of retail customers, partners and suppliers wherever it operates and to apply those products, experiences and capabilities for the benefit of retailers around the World, with particular initial emphasis in the USA.
